In a Jar...at the Smithsonian is a collection
of one-acts and monologues written and
directed by Crystal Jackson. The show
    introduces audiences to fringe characters
living in the middle of society, including a
man who wants a little stuffed lion removed
from his head (Please Remove This Stuffed
Animal From My Head), a conspiracy
theorist who is resigned to his fate (Redneck
at Tiffany's) and a couple that wakes up to
find themselves in an awkward situation
    (The Things That Bind).
Crystal Jackson is a recipient of an Individual Artist Grant Award. This
grant is funded by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
